It will take a strength / asset based approach so people are supported in terms of their strengths to increase their independence and personal resilience.  The service will also focus on building community capacity and informal support mechanisms. A key aim is preventing, reducing or delaying the need to access formal and statutory services.  MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST  The Key Worker is responsible for the delivery of strength based, person centred support to enable people to find their own solutions and make positive changes to their lives.  The role will facilitate support and co-ordinate access to information, other resources, groups and services that will provide people with a quality experience throughout their contact with the The Prevention Alliance service. The role includes deployment and supervision of volunteers. Main tasks and responsibilities:The following details reflect the content of the post at the date prepared. The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to the duties which may have to be varied, after discussion with the post holder, subject to the needs of the Alliance and in keeping with the general profile of the post.
