Are you patient and imaginative? Could you support adults with learning disabilities to learn new skills and live life on their own terms?You'll be working as a Learning Support Worker, supporting people to learn a whole range of life skills, to develop and grow. Perhaps you're a good cook, happy to pass on your abilities. Maybe you'd like to coach people into work experience or paid employment. Or bring your own skills, interests and hobbies to the table and pass them on!We have full-time (38 hpw) or part-time (various) opportunities. All are day-time roles with core hours between 8.30am and 4.30pm, though some flexible may be required at times depending on who you are supporting.Although we welcome people who have worked as Teaching Assistants or similar, you don't need experience, we provide full free training. You will need to be a driver with a manual licence, as some people we support have their own motability vehicles. Having your own vehicle that is insured for business use would also be advantageous.
