We are currently looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to work for a well established Law firm in the city centre of Liverpool on a negotiable salary of up to £20,000 pro rata. Legal This is a great career opportunity to work in a fantastic working corporate environment. The part time hours of work will be any 3 days Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm and company benefits include 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension scheme and discretionary bonus scheme.About The Role:Sorting, checking and entering all new client details on to the computer and amending current client details when necessaryCarrying out call credit checksScanning and saving relevant paperwork on the CDD systemClosing files on the accounts system and other data input as requiredPrinting out WIP reports in preparation for billingProduction, posting and scanning of sales invoicesProduction of accountancy forms relating to both Office and Client accounts including BACS, CHAPS, receipts, cheque requests and transfersDaily banking of all received cheques including checking ledgers for unpaid disbursementsInter-ledger transfers including checking details are correct before posting.Dealing with client/office transfersAdministrationMaintaining various organisational records via Excel spreadsheetsAssisting with marketing activitiesAttending clients both in person and on the telephone and providing such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client careUndertaking any specific training when required to do so and to have a responsibility towards self-developmentEnsuring the confidentiality of all the firm's and clients' documentation and informationProviding support to secretarial team when requiredPerforming other tasks as requested by the office manager from time to timeEssential Skills & ExperienceExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality and quantity of outputIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointGreat communication and organisational skillsExperience of working with accountancy packages or practice management systems preferableIdeally will have previously worked within the legal professionGood typing speeds and accuracy levelsPersonal attributes which include flexibility, self-reliance, tenacity, a 'can do' attitude as well as a team playerAbout The BenefitsNegotiable salary between £17,000-£20,000 pro rata26 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension schemeBonus schemeGreat offices in the city centreTo ApplyIf this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV to aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.
