Job TitleExperienced Legal Secretary – Personal Injury department. Days/ Hours2-3 days per week, Wednesday to Friday. To be discussed.9 am to 5.15 pm. (1 hour for lunch.) SalaryCompetitive salary, details on application.DurationInitially for period April 2018 to June 2018 inclusive. May become permanent.Holiday25 days per year on a pro rata basis.Responsible toTwo Fee Earners. Job PurposeTo provide legal secretarial support to two fee earners in a busy, small and friendly team specialising in Personal Injury legal cases. Key responsibilities·        Typing of legal documents and correspondence, including that dictated.·        Deal with client and other third-party telephone enquiries.·        Assist with keeping case files and other records up to date.·        Make necessary appointments and assist in keeping diaries up to date.·        Filing and other general administrative tasks·        To maintain standards, thereby helping to ensure a professional service to clients. Experience and key skills·        Previous legal secretarial experience  in a professional environment.·        A good knowledge of legal processes.·        Be self -organised, adaptable, resilient and be able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.·        Use effective interpersonal skills to work with two solicitors and maintain effective working relationships with other team members. ·        Possess effective planning, judgement and prioritisation ability to be able to manage the work of two solicitors.
