My client, is a well known national law firm based in the centre of Leeds. They are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Real Estate team due to an internal promotion. My client pride themselves on a professional but friendly working environment and are seeking someone like minded. You will be supporting at Partner and Fee Earner level, dealing with a range of legal secretarial duties. Working from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday.Duties will include: You will be expected to provide an effective and efficient secretarial support service to the lawyers in Real Estate in our Leeds office You will produce documents and letters as directed by fee earners Attend to clients by telephone and in person Assist fee earners with day to day administrative matters to include: opening new files, closing files and archiving File organisation Billing procedures Making appointments and arranging meetings Dealing with SDLT and HMLR registration documents and other post completion requirementsThe successful candidate will have worked within Real Estate previously, have working knowledge of SDLT forms, HMRC and Land Registry along with excellent organisational skills and a fast and accurate typing speed. You will be able to show initiative, capable of working under pressure when necessary, have excellent communication skills, be a real team player and have a flexible and professional approach with a willingness to get involved with the office as a whole.
