Manufacturing Maintenance Technician required! You will be part of a team who work together to achieve outstanding results, the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is the maintenance and repair of manufacturing facilities, associated infrastructure and manufacturing equipment. This will be conducted under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, in order to ensure safe, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operationsEnsuring that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as neededManaging maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling and work allocation to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff managementUpdate records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores and training givenWork closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performanceCoordinate all scheduled and non-scheduled Engineer visitsResponsible for general Facilities needsYou should have the following skills, experience and/or qualifications:Possess subject matter depth and breadth in the Plant Operation and Maintenance competencyExtensive hands-on experience in electrical and manufacturing engineeringAbility to demonstrate knowledge of plant operation principles, methods and processesThe ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facilityAnalytical skills with sound problem-solving and fault-finding abilityExperience of Preventative MaintenanceExperience of working with Injection Moulding machinery is highly desirableThe company highly invest in their staff and are interested in recruiting candidates who like to innovate and improve processes.
