The company designs, manufactures and installs radiation shielding and other products in the nuclear, medical and other markets.What will the role of Marketing and Administration Assistant entail?Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, your remit will be to support the technical department and be involved in sales and marketing. You will facilitate technical enquiries coming in to the business and maintain a database that can be utilised by you and the sales team to follow all opportunities through to sale of the company’s products.  Other duties will include, although not be limited to;• Supporting the Head of Technical Services with administration duties• Running progress reports• Following up sales leads• Producing brochures, data sheets and sales aids• Planning, developing and delivering marketing campaigns within set timescales• Undertaking market research• Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximise brand promotion• Utilising social media platforms• Planning and project managing marketing events• Creating and developing innovative ways to promote the companyWhat will I need to be considered for this Marketing and Administration Assistant role?• Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel• High standard of education• Positive, enthusiastic and focused on achievement• A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the norm• Excellent communication skills with a superb telephone manner• A highly motivated self-starter able to work using own initiative• Superb organisational skills• High level of literacy and numeracyWhat will I receive in return?Salary: Competitive salary, level dependent on experienceAdditional Benefits: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays; contributory pension scheme; childcare voucher, discount vouchers and cycle to work schemes; and healthcare cash plan.Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 12:30pmContract Type: PermanentLocation: Chester (Cheshire)All applications to be submitted online, and strictly no agency calls or agency CV submissions.This Marketing and Administration Assistant vacancy is advertised by JVP Jobs on behalf of the employer Calder Industrial Materials.
