You will manage and control the flow of material in accordance with short, medium and long term production planning, as well as: Manage replenishment of materials to achieve and maintain stock levels to support production and the desired service level to the customers Take an active part in the weekly production planning activities Manage the internal materials movements to support production which in turn ensures timely delivery of the finished goods to the customer Monitor current status versus promised deliveries and define corrective actions (to be discussed with the Production Manager) to ensure on time delivery Support the Purchasing Manager by constantly reviewing and checking the stock Promote the implementation of procedures and physical set up of Kaizan to support lean manufacturing 2-3 years experience in materials and a six sigma background would be a distinct advantage, as well as previous experience in a manufacturing environment with good lean manufacturing experiences...View full job description
