Meals on Wheels Driver
The WRVS helps older people to live well and maintain their independence by providing practical support in peoples homes, the community and hospitals. Our home meals delivery service at Cheltenham provides friendly social contact for those who may have difficulty with shopping, carrying food home or cooking for themselves. Our staff carry out safe and well checks and are trained to note any worrying changes in an older persons situation and report back, providing a valuable monitoring service. We are looking for a car owner - driver to help support our weekend round. This is an ideal opportunity for a caring individual with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older people to become involved in their local community.
