Responsible for receiving and renewing plant from commercial provider and carrying out routine inspections at handover. (if applicable) Provide training support to the military on varying tasks and training exercises (both on and off site, this may include deploying into the field to drive /operate in tactical scenarios where required and supporting another site Responsible for working safely within the Mechanical Transport Park and training area, with due regard to local safety instructions and the Health & Safety at Work Act Responsible for working safely within military and legislative rules and regulations appertaining to road transport operation and H&S, including wearing of appropriate PPE for tasks being carried out Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge on current equipment and new equipment into service Be prepared to undertake additional training in line with driver development and business requirements Qualifications and Experience (some may be dependent on position) Drivers - Must hold full Cat C or C+E driving license (LGV and Articulated vehicles) (essential), and a D1 or D (PCV) (desirable)...View full job description
