As a Corneal consultant at the Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH) you will manage a team of Fellows, a Specialty Doctor and Specialist Nurses in the care of patients with Corneal, External diseases and Keratorefractive problems.
The unit at present provides a comprehensive corneal service including high risk penetrating and lamellar keratoplasty (both anterior and posterior),ocular surface reconstruction including corneal epithelial stem cell (allo and auto grafts), femto second laser assisted corneal grafts, keratoprostheses, Intra corneal rings (femtosecond laser assisted), keratorefractive surgery (PRK/PTK and intraLasik)...View full job description
