This will include Public Health interventions, child health promotion, immunisation, health education, child protection, information, liaison and appropriate referral to meet the specific needs of the school community they serve Qualities/skills: Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication and decision making skills Ability to be adaptable and flexible Ability to work unsupervised using initiative to prioritise workload Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload Ability to implement programmes of work leading to service change and development Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships with a wide range of individuals and groups Ability to work autonomously Has a current professional portfolio reflecting personal and professional development Microsoft Word / Outlook skills To initiate, co-ordinate and audit the healthy child programme 5-19 years.
