Educated to degree level (or equivalent) the ideal candidate should have first hand experience of liaising with the press on proactive and reactive issues as well as delivering a wide range of communications activities such as: planning and managing a regular flow of positive stories to the media and managing reactive media enquiries to protect and maintain reputation developing and delivering a range of communication products including publications, electronic communications, campaigns, and events providing communications advice and support to a wide range of staff provide support for Trust events e.g VIP visits establish, maintain and develop professional working relationships with colleagues and partners.
