New opportunity not to be missed! Dewey Waters have an exciting opportunity for a National Sales Managerto join the team based between Bristol, Swindon, Birmingham and even as far up as Nottingham. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary plus bonus.Dewey Waters is one of the UK’s market leaders in the manufacture and supply of all cold water storage tanks. We specialise in sectional tanks (1,000 to 1,500,000 litres) and one piece tanks (from 30 to 9000 litres) we offer standard size tanks or custom built tanks to suit individual project requirements. We also provide a range of other GRP manufactured products including housings and biofilters, as well as kiosks and cabinets. We provide full project management for jobs of all sizes and also offer our clients training on the installation of water tanks. GRP Tanks are ideal in the storage of cold water offering a durable solution which can withstand heavy impact, weather conditions and heavy loads.The National Sales Manager will maximise sales targets and profitability in line with business strategy and approved pricing levels, by monitoring and conducting effective negotiation, through established sales processes and effective management of a team of external sales staff.Duties and responsibilities of the National Sales ManagerManaging a team to deliver lead generation and sales validation in respect of the following areas:- Monitoring volume, price and profit in line with business strategy- Negotiate business and confirm quotations using agreed discretion levels- Quote prices using agreed discretion levels to negotiate business and maximize profit opportunities- Ensuring proactive follow up of quotation to secure business- Ensure maximum number of quotations are converted to order- Identify sales leads and ensure maximum benefit from up selling on secured orders- Management of a team of sales executives including recruitment, induction, performance management, incentive and reward- Experience of motivating a team to deliver through established sales process- Working collaboratively with the Technical Manager to maximise sales targets and profitability in line with business strategy and approved pricing levels, through providing feedback on customer needs, reviewing commercial turnover. Volume etc- Record and communicate all market and competitor information received in order to increase sales opportunities- Forecasting, managing and driving team and overall targets through ensuring budgeted volume, margin and sales profit targets are met (monthly, quarterly and annually)- Ensure customer relationships are maintained and additional product opportunities are identified and maximized- Development of new markets (marine) and consider development of export market- Mitigate any customer dissatisfaction- Recommend improvements in procedures and working practices to develop a culture of continuous improvementSkills, knowledge and experience required by the National Sales Manager- Excellent communication and written skills- Proven sales ability preferably from within a technical / motor trade industry - Able to manage teams, setting and working to targets- Planning and organisational skills- Influencing skills- Ability to work under pressure- Responsible for process improvements across the team- Self motivated- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel- Ability to work cross functionally in order to meet business needs- Natural influencer- Persuasive- Able to close a sale- Organised – able to manage own time effectively whilst managing the needs of a geographically dispersed team- Attention to detailWith excellent opportunities to develop and enhance your career, Dewey Waters is the place to be.
