Network and Support Engineer - Infrastructure Technician (Windows and Linux) Based in Surrey, paying c£25,000 to 30,000 per annum (plus company benefits and bonuses) Key Areas of Responsibility: • Resolving desktop support issues Windows 7 and Office 2007/10 • Creation of user accounts in Windows and Linux • Part of the shift rota to cover support 7am-7pm (Monday-Friday) • Network systems monitoring and troubleshooting (mentoring will be provided) • Assisting with Security initiatives and projects (training will be provided) Key Skills: • CCNA or equivalent Network engineering certification • Knowledge of server hardware and configuration options • Knowledge of Windows SERVER 2003/8 Server, DHCP, applications, Anti-Virus, etc • Ability to multitask and work productively under pressure • Honours degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic level Desirables: • Show initiative, innovation and be able to work in an environment with minimal supervision • Exposure to network monitoring packages and demonstrate knowledge • Knowledge of Linux server administration • Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting of Cisco/Juniper Network products • Knowledge of information security standards e.g. ISO27001 Due to fantastic growth within their infrastructure team; an opening has arisen for an Infrastructure Technician with networking experience to join the Company...View full job description
