Job PurposeTo work as a Nursery Practitioner specifically in our baby room, contributing to the delivery of a high quality setting ensuring that all children attending receive excellent care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs. A successful candidate will be a confident nursery practitioner with good communication skills with both adults and children, forming positive relationships with colleagues and parents to help ensure that the transition into our setting is seamless.Person SpecificationMust hold GCSE maths and English language at grade C or above Must hold a minimum level 3 childcare qualification Excellent communication skills and organisational skills Demonstrable knowledge of the EYFS Professional and proactive attitude At least 1 years experience of working in a baby room with babies under 18 months old Experience of being a key worker for a group of 3 or more Flexible in your approach to work as the hours are usually between 07:30 and 18:30. Additional InformationMust be flexible, enthusiastic and professional Must have at least 1 years experience of working in a baby room with children aged under 18 months old Requires a clear DBS check Level 2 food hygiene preferable Full Paediatric First Aid Qualification preferable Informal enquiries to be sent to r.j.slater@bham.ac.uk  View full job description
