We support people through supported housing, move-on accommodation, CQC registered services and floating support. We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health need.Sidegate Lane Nursing Home supports 24 people with mental health needs and/or Dementia using a holistic approach to ensure a high quality of care is delivered.  Personalised care and support is key to ensure the needs of each resident is met.  We have a dedicated staff team who are looking for a manger with leadership skills to foster the approach of continuous improvement to ensure the best outcomes can be achieved for the people living there and maintain the excellent reputation.The Nursing Home Manager will manage the delivery of a sustainable, quality service ensuring customer, financial and organisational needs are met  in line with aims and objectives and will be supported by a Deputy Nurse Manager and Clinical Lead.The role of Nursing Home Manager will include: * Successfully registering with CQC as Manager of Sidegate Lane* Ensuring consistent delivery of services that are compliant with health and safety, housing regulations and other relevant legislation* Monitoring clinical practices within the care home ensuring clients support packages are appropriate and a multidisciplinary approach in taken* Manage the recruitment, performance and development of staff, including supporting nurses with clinical development and revalidation* Building and mainting effective relationships with clients and external agencies,* Promoting inclusion and active participation from service users as well as ensuring engagement with the local community* Assisting with budget setting and monitoring, recovering debts and identifying any opportunitied to generate income to ensure business viability.Skills and experiences* Registered Manager Award or similar relevant professional qualification* PIN number desirable but not essential* An extensive knowledge of current statutory legislation and good practice principals* Experience working with and proven knowledge of the key needs and services for older people living with dementia and mental health problems* Previous experience managing and developing a teaclinical team* Experience working to tight deadlines and prioritising workloads* Outstanding communication skills including interpersonal and customer care skills* Excellent level of IT knowledge including Word and ExcelReady to join us?As part of our commitment to making Sanctuary a great place to work, we offer you access to a range of great employee benefits and the opportunity to develop and progress within your career.
