Location: Hampton by Hilton BlackpoolInterstate Europe Hotels & Resorts is a division of U.S.-based Interstate Hotels & Resorts, operating hotels for owners under all major franchised lodging brands in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Russia and China.Interstate offers a complete suite of hotel management services in the United Kingdom with a UK-based team of hospitality professionals, providing hotel owners and developers with personalised attention and a focus on top line revenues and bottom line profits, every single day, at each and every hotel we operate.Great Benefits are aligned to joining Interstate’s portfolio, not only do Interstate offer great discounts for Staff, Friends & Family within all their UK hotels, but you also get to experience Hilton’s benefits World Wide!!!  Interstate also have a very successful Training Academy to support your development and career across all brands, plus so many other great benefits to offer!!!With Hampton by Hilton Blackpool opening in quarter two of 2018, Interstate, are now looking to start their recruitment process on behalf of the owners, and are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Guest Services Manager who has worked in a similar sized property, and will thrive on supporting both the opening and running of this distinguished and characteristic business.The hotel will have 130 modern bedrooms and will be situated on Blackpool’s restored and regenerated seafront, the brand-new Hampton by Hilton Blackpool offers stunning views over Blue Flag award-winning beaches and the Irish Sea, from the comfort of a stylish and relaxing location.As Senior Guest Services Manager you will Report directly to the General Manager and will take overall responsibility for Hotel’s operational areas e.g. Reception, Night Team, overseeing Housekeeping plus Food and Beverage within the hotel. The role of Senior Guest Services Manager, will be to manage the day to day operation of the hotel, in line with company policy and brand standards. You will assist in maximising all areas of profitability, through increased revenue generation and productivity to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the hotel. You will be responsible for ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met for each department and will deputise in the General Manager's absence.You will also be responsible for managing and motivating the hotel team, ensuring that all staff within each department are adequately trained to Hampton by Hilton brand standards.Key Task will involve the following:Leading and developing the Front Office/F&B Team to ensure effective delivery of sales and high standards of customer service.To be able to perform Duty Management shifts, ensuring that all departments are fully staffed in accordance with daily/weekly business levels?To ensure that all HR & Training matters of the team are current & up to date as per company requirements. Monitor performance reviews carried out by GSM’s and ensure induction training is carried in in accordance with company guidelines.To utilise Fourth payroll system ensuring rota’s are input and approved weekly and team members have access at all times.Setting up strategies and action plans to ensure that departmental objectives/targets are consistently met. This will include contributing to weekly forecasting of business plus the annual department budget.Ensuring clear and straightforward communication is maintained through the Front of House and all other Operational departments.To be responsible for ensuring that there is a high standard of public relations with all guests, dealing with any complaints or compliments and reporting them to the Senior Management Team.To oversee housekeeping, ensuring all standards are maintained in line with brand standards and Company procedures.To produce daily/weekly reports relating to Front of House & Food & Beverage business levels?All policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Company standards and Financial Audit Results.If you can demonstrate the proven skills, have a strong personality along with a great presence and the confidence to make tough decisions we want to hear from you.  View full job description
