You will counsel military and civilian personnel and their family members on a variety of passports, vignette and visa subjects and assist or complete documentation requested by foreign countries. You will be expected to provide guidance on the identity documents required, provide information on procedural requirements and provide technical guidance and assistance to other acceptance agents. Process and track applications and validate documents for authenticity. You will also be required to prepare reports and maintain records using various computer based programs and work to deadlines. Perform other administrative and clerical work in support of the office. Serve as a government purchase card holder and be responsible for managing recurring and short notice purchases. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 1. Desired knowledge of rules and procedures of DoD instructions and operations that apply to the employee in order to perform the procedural work of the office for preparing and processing official passports, vignette and visas.2. Knowledge and ability to research, analyze, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, procedures, and standard safety and health practices relating to the passport applications and military relocation actions.3. Desired knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations of using and maintaining a Government Purchase Card (GPC).4. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents, such as letters, reports on any subordinate employees, orders for military personnel, spreadsheets, databases, graphs, government computer programs/systems, and official government documents as it relates to passport, vignette, and visa requests and relocation of military personnel.5. Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and formation to be able to accurately prepare and edit documents, written correspondence, reports, and charts.6. Ability to speak distinctly and communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and maintain effective work relationships.OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS: 1.  May be assigned other duties not included in this position description, but that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the incumbent.2.  May be required to occasionally travel via military/civilian aircraft in performance of official duties.  Or attend necessary training.MEDICAL/SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Security clearance  ImmunizationsPre-employment medical FOOD HANDLERSDefence Barring Service (DBS ) certificateEDUCATION/TRAINING:  Education or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for all required experience.HOURS OF DUTY:Monday – Friday 0800-1630 hours WHO CAN APPLY: Citizens of the U.K., Nationals of European Community (EC) Countries, and Commonwealth Citizens, other Foreign Nationals, and Stateless persons provided no restrictions have been imposed as a condition of continued residency in the UK.
