We provide a wide range of audit and wider assurance services to pension schemes sponsored by private, public and international companies across various sectors. We audit over 630 pension schemes annually, ranging from the very largest in the UK with over £50bn of assets to those with less than £50m. Our people are committed to delivering best-in-class assurance services, that really adds value to the trustee governance of these schemes not just mundane minimum compliance. We respond to the challenges of our clients with high quality, value for money technical solutions every time.What you'll be doing:You’ll be interesting in developing technically strong audit skills, expanding your experience to include working on a number of Pension Schemes sponsored by some of the largest employers in the Country. You’ll work with colleagues in audit teams often on site at large multi-national employers or their advisers, delivering high quality work that will require little amendment after peer review by Audit Executives / Managers. You’ll carry out work profitably and on a timely basis, in accordance with the firm’s professional standards and to the satisfaction of our clients and audit executives / managers. You’ll work collaboratively with your colleagues, supporting the team in delivering a quality audit to timetable, and contribute to a continuous improvement ethos for the team and providing insightful comments for managers and Executives to consider for reporting to clients. You’ll be an exceptional team player. You’ll effectively support your team to ensure work fulfils audit objectives and quality standards.Who we're looking for: you'll be studying towards the ACCA or ACA professional qualification you’ll have a working knowledge of key reporting standardsyou'll have worked on the transition phase from UKGAAP to FRS102 and SORP compliance you’ll have experience of the audit process you'll have experience working on Pension Schemes from Planning to Completion stage for various businessesyou'll be comfortable using audit software and Microsoft packagesYou should be commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.  You should be focused on self-development as well as having the desire to coach, mentor and develop your colleagues.
