THE ROLE The key day-to-day tasks of the Process Manager include: • Champion the scale up of new products from concept through to launch • Develop the most efficient/cost effective process in line with customer, company and food safety standards • Deliver robust labour costings and review product costings and ensure the Site and Business Manager are regularly updated • Support the planning, organising and controlling of resources to achieve effective day to day management of trials and long term achievement of critical paths • Manage the risk of introducing new products, processes, equipment and materials to ensure they can be delivered into the factory maintaining technical codes of practice THE CANDIDATE Key attributes of the Process Manager include: • Degree in Food Engineering, Food Science or equivalent experience • Proven experience in a process role within the food industry Background of dealing directly with major customers • Previous leadership experience / ability to effectively lead a team • Excellent organisation, problem solving and communication skills The role is based in Lincolnshire and is paying £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience...View full job description
