The Role:Working within a team to ensure the platform supports the efficient and timely development of sector-specific solutionsLiaising regularly with developers, project managers, research consultants and department managers to assist in the development of products Developing a process for delivering innovative software devices and products Improving software used during the sales process Minimizing waste through re-engineering productsWorking closely with the software developers on prototype projects to role out to the business and cover skills transfers, training and support The Candidate:You will hold a first degree in computing, finance or mathematics, have worked within software/architecture development and have a solid understanding of financial concepts including risk management, asset management and the pricing of financial instrumentsAssume personal responsibility for achieving outcomes and works effectively with little guidance Finishes what is started, persists with actions, pro-active with ability to prioritise and effectively drive a variety of tasks to completionBuilds and maintains cooperative work relationships with others Collaborates effectively in meetings and informal interactions Ability to influence positively across teamsAn innovative thinker who can see the needs of others and adapt working style to meet these needsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand and draw conclusions from complex problemsWe work with employers who encourage diversity...View full job description
