High profile global banking firm are looking for an experienced highly professional Transcriber/Minute taker, preferably who has worked within the financial industry before, to work on a new project in their Manchester city centre offices. This is a new role so the client is offering a 6 months initial contract to extend or make permanent at the end on the 6 months. You will need to have experience of dealing with large volumes of highly technical information, transcribing meetings both formal and informal either remotely or on site. The successful candidate will need to be able to:- •Collate Committee packs including; collation of materials, preparation into PDF format •Collate committee packs in client template format and manage the distribution of packs to the committees •Set up and manage a committee diary and schedule meetings •Manage all communications between committee’s •Manage the team committee reporting schedule – monitoring deadlines and producing KPI’s •Minute taking at formal committees •Minute taking for working groups •Minute taking for workshops (and managing schedules for this) •Manage action lists and follow up actions for committees •Prepare both informal type meeting notes and formal committee minutes •Type accurately and quickly with high wpm skills •High attention to detail and excellent listening skills •Willing to learn highly technical set of terminology •Advanced at Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills •Highly organised, adaptable and able to learn quickly There will also be some occasional travel and some light administrative duties (stationary, travel arranging) This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the largest banking firms in the city and has excellent prospects for career progression.
