Duties will include: • Handling, coordination and operation of individual shipments (Air & Sea & Breakbulk) from / to the UK and Cross Trades (outside the UK) • Obtaining freight rates and preparation of freight calculations and quotations • Working with Project Manager on project inquiries & RFQ’s • Freight negotiations and bookings • File handling including cost control • Co-ordination and communication with clients and subcontractors/carriers/other offices on daily basis • Bill of Lading, AWB, Letter of Credit and Export & Import Customs Clearance • PO Expediting with vendors and administration of Client PO’s • Update Tracking & Tracing System • Preparation of Shipping Documents (Invoice & Packing List) and Certificate of Origin The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: • Good IT, communication, organisation and overall forwarding management skills...View full job description
