PROJECT ANALYST/PROJECT MANAGEROur client, a well established leader in the logistics market, is looking for a Project Anyalyst/Project Manager to join their existing team who will report directly to the Operations Director – Projects.The key responsibilites for the role of Project Analyst/Project Manager are:• Accountability for management of projects as assigned by the Operations Director – Projects.• To ensure that project governance processes are followed in line with business requirements including : scoping, production/management of project plan, risk management, issue management, budget management and reporting and communication.• Identification of when the project is delivering to plan and escalating when concers arise providing management for the project in such a way that all members of the project team are engaged into their area of the project and are accountable for delivery of tasks/actions assigned to them.• Leadership and delivery on business projects.• Support clients on join projects, ensuring that goals are jointly delivered.• Play an active role in supporting the development of new business opportunities.• Use own initiative to identify and act upon opportunities  to deliver business benefits e.g. continuous improvement/cost reduction.• Providing support to other departments within the business as required and to fit in with work requirements.Skills and Competencies:• Broad/generalis understanding of the logistics industry.• Astute appreciation of Project Management methodology.• Experience of leading/engaging with business stakeholders.• Analytical skills – understanding/reporting/escalating• First class communication skills – across all levels of the business• Presentation and project skills.Core hours of work :  Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm – flexibiltiy required View full job description
