We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health needsWe are seeking a Project Worker  to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. At Lansdowne Lane we deliver personalised care and support services to help people  with mental health needs on their pathway to independence. Our structured package of tailored support uses the Mental Health Recovery Star model to agree a personal support plan, enabling residents to identify their needs and achieve their goals. If you want to make a positive impact to people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.The role of Project  Worker will include:* Regular key working and support planning to ensure relevant support is provided to enable/empower our clients to maximize their own potential and level of independence* Assessing clients needs, writing and updating care plans and risk assessments* Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the clients, actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as advocate when required* Traveling with clients* Attend regular training to increase and improve skills and knowledge* Working with clients in running and creating activities and workshopsSkills and experiences:* A sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management and an understanding of occupancy agreements* Some experience of dealing with safeguarding* Experience with dealing with people with learning disabilities, mental health and physical impairments* Needs to be able to work in a fast paced environment with ability to adapt to various situations* Be able to take and receive instructions* Experience/Knowledge or dealing with care plans and risk assessments* Understand the role of statutory and non-statutory agencies such as the CQC* The  ability to work on your own initiative as you will be required to source innovative solutions to problems that allow residents independence to be enhanced* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel or similarReady to join us?As part of our commitment to making Sanctuary a great place to work, we offer you access to a range of great employee benefits and the opportunity to develop and progress within your career.
