This is a growing and thriving organisation which has built its growth and reputation on doing the right thing just cos it is right Overview of the position of Property Account Handler: - To provide a comprehensive, high quality, professional service ensuring high levels of client satisfaction - To service and develop a portfolio of clients within the property division of the company - To identify and act upon any business opportunities for development/growth for both existing and potential new property clients Responsibilities and Duties of the Property Account Handler - Responsible for development and servicing of own client portfolio - Identify and act upon Clients day to day needs and expectations by meeting agreed service levels and providing a professional service - Responsible for production of all necessary documentation required for periodic Client review process within prescribed timescales set out by the company and FCA - Negotiate competitive terms with approved product suppliers, where possible, in order to satisfy your clients' requirements - Identify additional opportunities for profitable growth by recognising your client's needs and recommending cover enhancements - Ensure all communications are accurately recorded in Client's records - Ensure accurate and efficient invoicing of all premiums due, including effective credit control where necessary - Develop and maintain excellent relationships with service providers - Awareness of market trends and maintaining a high level of technical competence - Ensure company and regulatory procedures are followed To be successful in application for the Property Claims Handler position: - Experience in working within the insurance industry - Strong technical knowledge - A knowledge of a variety of cover placement procedures, methods and techniques - Understanding of FCA regulations - Excellent client management skills and experience - Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure - A positive attitude towards personal and career development - Excellent IT Skills are essential - experience with Acturis would be desirable.
