PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR - PERMANENTTERM-TIME WORKINGOur multi branded client was founded in 1939 and is a market leader in Library and Education Resources. Using their extensive experience, they work efficiently with a wide range of professionals around the world to offer their customers the highest quality products and services, selling directly to establishments through a combination of mail order catalogues and web sites.We have an excellent role for a Purchasing Administrator who will support the Procurement Team to meet their KPIs, support supplier relationships, deal with customer queries and improve On Time In Full (OTIF) performance.Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist with resolving purchase order and Supplier invoice queries. - To deal with Customer Service Team general product enquiries, liaising with the supplier if necessary and then updating the Product Managers and Buyers accordingly. - To run a range of data reports i.e., item status, cost price status, Bill of Material list, supplier payment snapshot, Q code discontinue, OTIF - and assist with related actions. - To compile packets of book covering samples - cutting to size and fixing labels - consisting of approximately 10 products. - To upload data to SAP i.e., new products, cost pricing as well as complete data cleansing activities and upload results. - To support pricing exercise with suppliers.General - To deliver any other duties commensurate with the role as set out by the relevant Line Manager. - To comply at all times with Company Policies and legal requirements e.g. health and safety, data protection, equality and diversity etc - To be committed to own continuous personal and professional development.Person Specification: - Must have at least 5 GCSE's including Maths and English grade C or above, or equivalent alternative qualifications - Demonstrable experience within an administrative role - Previous experience within Purchasing Administration and Customer Services (Desirable) - IT literacy with confidence using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel - SAP B1 knowledge (desirable) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good telephone manner - A highly organised and methodical approach - Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage workload in a fast paced and demanding environment - Excellent numeracy skills with an eye for detail - Takes pride in work with a focus on accuracy - Able to work well independently or as part of a wider team with a flexible, co-operative and helpful nature - Must display qualities of loyalty, integrity and honesty with a commitment to the provision of maximum service qualityThis is a permanent part time role working 9:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday, with an unpaid break of 30 minutes each day on a term-time basis.If you are interested in applying, please send a covering letter along with your CV, stating salary expectations and notice period.
