Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Teacher to join the team based in Southampton. The role will be a full time permanent position offering a salary of £28,500 per annum. The services that the company delivers include Residential Children’s Homes, a Residential Family Centre, a Crisis Intervention Centre (Wales) and Post 16 transition to independence units; there is also a School, Foster Care Department and a Training Centre. Role OverviewOur client is looking to recruit a Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) to work within our Education Department in our school in Totton. Role entails ensuring high standards of personal lesson planning, delivery of lessons, marking of work and behaviour management of the pupils with SEN and Autism. You would also be required to participate in the completion and monitoring of all student assessments throughout the school, and participate in the implementation and delivery of each students Individual Education Plan as well as monitor and record such progress. Key Skills & Experience Required of our Qualified Teacher The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people, who present with challenging behaviours due to traumatic life experiences. It would also be expected of you to support less experienced or unqualified staff to reach the same high standards for which you strive. As our Qualified Teacher you will have a variety of teaching experience with Autism, mainstream, special school and working with children that present with social, emotional, behavioural difficulties as well as have the ability to engage with young people, staff, managers and members of the public. All applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and own their own car. All staff will undergo DBS checks at the enhanced level. The disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways.
