RESPONSIBILITIES a) Collaboration with the Supply Chain and Quality Manager in the implementation and development of the existing Supplier Management strategy. b) Assessment of supplier capability and capacity and monitoring of supplier quality to ensure the desired levels of performance. c) Identifying key performance metrics and being pro-active in implementing the monitoring process. d) Communication of Supplier Quality metrics to the relevant management personnel both at our client`s and the supplier. e) Identifying opportunities for development and continuous improvement within the supply chain. f) Utilising SQA tools and techniques as appropriate. g) Development of Inspection Plans, Quality Care Points (visual guides) etc and supporting the Inspection and First Article Inspection Processes. h) Supporting Supply Chain in monitoring and communicating delivery status. i) Working closely with Design and Engineering teams in the evaluation of new processes, materials, tooling commission etc. j) Resolution with the Supply Chain of Quality Issues arising in our client`s assembly plant attributed to Supplier...View full job description
