Real peopleproviding real support to make a real difference”Our team of Rapid Response Workers perform a vital role in ensuring that our service users are supported safely, in an effective and caring way that is responsive to their own individual needs.You will provide emergency, short term and respite cover for cases that cannot be cancelled due to nursing needs, reduced capacity, overnight support, or restricted next of kin availability. You will also be involved in the setup of new cases.The role involves supporting service users in their own home(s) with a range of physical and/or psychological needs, for example, neurological conditions, brain injury, spinal injury, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs.Duties include:Personal careMedication supportDaily LivingMoving & HandlingManaging FinancesNursing Care/ Clinical SkillsRehabilitation therapyTrainingFrom your first day you will be paid to go through our accredited training course which includes the care certificate alongside bespoke elements designed to help you provide a world class service.Each of the individuals we work with have their own training programme which they have often helped to design. After you have completed this you will receive on the job training from an experienced support worker until you feel comfortable to go solo.ShiftsOur service users require continuous 24hr support which includes day shifts, night shifts and weekends. You will provide “on call” support to cover absence and annual leave.
