Regional Sales Consultant Up to £40,000 - Permanent Location: CroydonSalary Details: Up to £40,000 Plus Car & Bonus Role Title: Regional Sales Consultant Job Role:As a Regional Sales Consultant for this division of our client’s business, you will be responsible for managing new business development opportunities, and will work efficiently as part of a team to deliver the Channel strategy.Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for the identification, acquisition and growth of our customers• Take full ownership and accountability for sales territory and ensure optimum levels of customer service• Achieve agreed territory volume and sales value targets• Prepare sales development programmes, which are fully evaluated and agreed, thus maximising profitability • Achieve agreed targets for your portfolio within an agreed Customer Investment budget• Provide accurate and timely business forecast• Develop and maintain a good, professional and efficient working relationship with customers• Act as the voice of the customer internally, to shape product and trade marketing strategies to add value to the customer proposition• Apply the principles of consultative selling to ensure we take a customer-centric approach to sales, with regular and meaningful telephone and email contact and face to face meetings. Ideal Candidate:• Excellent organisational skills and territory management with proven ability to organise own schedule and prioritise effectively • Experience of New Business development is essential• Good numeracy, literacy and analytical skills with a good attention to detail• The ability to demonstrate integrity, and maintain and grow relationships with existing and new customers• Proven negotiation, advisory and influencing skills• The ability to spot business opportunities through focussing on customer needs• Contributes to the overall team success through delivery of personal targets & builds effective team relationships• Takes ownership and accountability for performance• Business Planning skills to ensure effective development of key customers• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint/Prezzi and Excel, and experience preferred of using a CRM solution• Persuades & engages others to deliver business results• Resilient & tenacious when faced with difficultyAbout Us:This role is being handled by McCarthy Recruitment, award winning specialist retail recruitment consultancy covering the whole of the UK.
