Revenue Cycle - EPIC Applications Manager
Job Profile Summary: The Application Manager (AM) functions as the primary expert for the application and oversees the work activities of the build team. Working in conjunction with the Director, the Application Manager (AM) defines, build objectives and manages configuration, build and installation of the application. This person will report to the Director, Clinical Applications for Cleveland Clinic London and will be responsible for planning, structuring, and monitoring system implementation, as well as testing and change control procedures. The Application Manager (AM) takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Director of Clinical Applications on work priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues. Job Responsibilities:· Partners with subject matter experts and other Electronic Health Record (EHR) AMs to ensure build consistency and successful end to end patient centric workflow. · Identifies and plans appropriate training for team members and leads the team in attaining a high level of application knowledge. · Responsible for implementing, administering, and supporting assigned systems under the minimal guidance of senior members of the team. · Other duties as assigned. Other Information:LOCATION: Central LondonSALARY RANGE: 75,000-110,000 GBP per annumEducation:· Bachelor's degree. · Additional years of experience may offset the degree requirement.Certifications: Prior or currently certified on 1 or more EPIC application(s) within the area of focus in Revenue Cycle. Competencies (Complexity of Work):· Has proven experience in application of project management and system development methodologies. · Demonstrates a broad knowledge of business/scientific functions and related systems interfaces that can assist Cleveland Clinic London (CCL) management in the operation and administration of divisions. · Knowledge of healthcare operations is desirable. · Demonstrates the ability to understand and deal analytically with both internal problems and the CCL opportunities that arise during the coordination of multi-disciplinary projects.· Management skills must include strong written and verbal communication skills, negotiating skills and organizational skills. · Demonstrates ability to interrelate to all levels of the user community. Work Experience:Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience with demonstrated experience in information system development and advanced management practices. Experience with implementing and supporting a major system in a clinical or system analyst capacity. Epic implementation experience. Understanding of Epic modules, ancillary systems, and health system operations.Physical Requirements:· This position requires frequent sitting and use of telephone and personal computer.· Frequent talking and listening when giving instructions and explanations is required.· The position must be available after hours for support.Personal Protective Equipment:· Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
