This is an excellent opportunity to join a global cyber security/defence organisation who currently require an SAP Business Partner to join their Finance function. We are specifically looking for an experienced Business Partner with a proven background in advising and translating SAP requirements to join them. Experience working within a financial work stream is essential and this is an ideal opportunity to gain wider exposure within a technical environment. This particular role forms part of a team responsible for the design and maintenance of comprehensive, cost effective and deliverable IT solutions that meet the needs of wider business. You will drive development and enhance the products used on a daily basis that enable effective strategic decisions throughout the business. This will be conducted through key relationship management, setting expectations and helping to articulate roadmaps for their area of responsibility. Specifically, the role will be a key part of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team, developing continuous improvement work packages for the Record to Report areas of the Capability Model, working collaboratively with our Dev Ops team to drive Value, Flow and Quality through self organising teams. Cultural fit is essential for this role and we are looking for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to quickly build relationships with senior stakeholders, working closely with business and technical teams. To be considered for this role you must be eligible for SC Clearance. Experience & Skills Required: SAP - FI CO, background Knowledge. Accounting Qualifications. Accounts Payable and Receivable Process Knowledge. General Ledger Processing Knowledge. Intercompany Process Knowledge. Reporting Process Knowledge. Working experience of Agile Methodology.Key Responsibilities: Own our finance and reporting work stream, working with the business through the EA to determine areas of continuous improvement and manage the flow of change into the DevOps function. Attend Business working groups to drive best practice. Excellent knowledge of the business processes and ability to help improve them. Produce technical roadmaps that align with functional direction. Identifies product, process and documentation deficiencies and makes suggestions for improvement. Applies best practices and promoting continuous process improvement. Manages the design and implementation of processes and process improvements. Ensures high levels of business satisfaction for the products/solutions supported. Is knowledgeable of the products within their responsibility area and is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert within their area of expertise. Has knowledge of competitor's products and are up to date with releases from existing suppliers. Provides support and mentoring to resolve problems escalated from lower-levels of expertise within the organization. Build relationships with core users to ensure we can support and work effectively with all areas of the business. Complete all tasks to a high standard and receive excellent customer feedback. Works with the end user, defining requirements for enhancements to business processes and systems incorporating best practice. Value and ensure cost effective solutions to business problems.. Reviews applicable 3rd Party products and activities. Acts as Functional Support Lead for larger application developments. Identifies new opportunities and ensures that they are effectively progressed. Participate in the identification, review and promotion of additional services to the business. Identifies and documents cost savings/revenue opportunities for add-on services. Support the Business providing input into Business Needs documents. Contribute to the definition of project scope. Maintain healthy, thriving relationships with key stakeholders. Develop and maintain raving fans in the business. Be at the forefront of technical knowledge in your specialism. Deep understanding and gravitas to challenge the why, not just the how . Feed ideas into the Architecture foundation to guide application direction. Measure Business Benefit Realisation and feedback results to Stakeholders Propose and produce innovative ideas to business problems. Work with Senior Management and Business stakeholders to determine business priorities, requirements and manage delivery expectations.
