Provide a high standard of customer service, thus maintaining the good reputation of Axis Security.  Role Requirements: We seek to fill this roll immediately Various hours per week £7.83 per hour Paid monthly The successful candidate, who should have previous security experience, will provide cover at our clients’ sites in the Greater Belfast Area. We seek a flexible person who is able to work any days and nights of the week, including weekends.  There will be the opportunity to provide cover for holidays, sickness and extra staffing requirements. Having access to personal transport is an advantage but not essential. Ideally the successful candidate would have an SIA CCTV licence and First Aid at Work Certificate, but this is not essential. Our Security Officers are required to comply with the ‘Assignment Instructions’ to provide a safe and secure environment. They must show a high visibility security presence, but also have a warm friendly welcoming manner to all who attend the site.   The role requires flexibility and we need people who are able to work varying shift times acrossall days and nights of the week. You must be prepared to travel to the various different locations that you are tasked with. Specific Duties: Successful candidates will be required to do the following (all varying dependant on the site):-          Communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written-          Work on their own or as part of a team-          Comply with directions/instructions from site supervisors/managers-          Work on reception/front of house duties-          Work inside buildings or outside in all weathers-          Provide site visitors with advice, guidance and information, answering any questions and queries-          Assist in premises evacuations during an emergency, ensuring the safety of all-          Report faults, defects and any issues of concern to the relevant management-          Be physically fit as some sites require staff to be standing for a number of hours-          Comply with Assignment Instructions and Health and Safety policy-          Always arrive for shifts on time, booking on duty in the required manner-          Take designated breaks for the prescribed time and no longer-          Only smoke in designated smoking areas and never on duty-          Do not chew gum, use personal telephones or lean on buildings giving an unprofessional image To be suitable for this role you must meet all of the following criteria:-          Be smart and well presented at all times-          Have an SIA licence (having an SIA CCTV Licence and a First Aid Certificate is a bonus)-          Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos-          Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal-          Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service-          Have previous experience in the security industry-          Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements-          Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations-          Be able to work without supervision and also as a member of a team-          Have a full five year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted Documentation that must be provided by the applicant upon request: -          SIA Licence(s)-          Passport -          Visa (if relevant)-          Bank Statements with account number, sort code and address-          Proof of address (such as a utility bill)-          Proof of National Insurance Number-          Details of 2 personal references (that must not be relatives or live at the same address) Please read very carefully as before applying for this role you must: 1.    Be confident that you will be able to undertake 100% of all the specific duties. 2.    Meet ALL of the criteria listed in this advertisement.
