Sales Manager, FMCG Global Brand. Covering London & the South East £50,000 basic salary + up to 40% bonus + Executive Company Car + 25-day Holiday + Pension + Healthcare + Exceptional flexible benefits. This is a Senior Sales Management role with a remit of five Area Managers and around thirty Account Managers. Working for a multi-million pound manufacturer of an internationally recognised brand portfolio. The role is due to internal promotion and requires a highly experienced sales manager that is used to managing multidisciplinary teams. This is an exceptional opportunity to work for one of the world's most recognised FMCG brands, offering products that are almost recession proof and within a highly profitable industry sector. To apply, you must meet all the following criteria: LEADER: You will be an exceptionally strong and dynamic sales leader with a career that demonstrates continuous success within consumer goods. MANAGER: You will be experienced in 'managing managers' to deliver a variety of sales targets and key performance indicators to ensure all business growth targets are met. INTELLIGENT AND ADAPTABLE: You will be a graduate, or of graduate calibre, and be receptive to new ideas with a willingness to 'change tack' and adjust to changing demands and circumstances. MENTOR: You will have demonstrable success in growing successful sales teams and capable of playing a pivotal role in driving the business towards market leadership. At interview, you will be expected to demonstrate your experience in coaching, mentoring and driving multidisciplinary sales teams to their next level to ensure that all objectives are achieved. PROACTIVE: You will be an 'enabler of change' and possess a 'new management thinking' approach to sales achievement. As such, you will be well versed with changing sales methodologies and will have a positive and proactive 'can do' attitude that passionately ensures that your strategy becomes a success. In addition, you will possess a thirst for learning and continuous personal development. ANALYTICAL: you will have strong commercial and financial awareness with a forensic approach to analysing trends, sales figures, performance, competitor activity and marketing cost control. COMMERCIALLY AWARE: You will be used to formulating a cohesive strategy to ensure that all brand and trade objectives are met and exceeded. TEAM PLAYER: You will be a genuine team player and team leader who listens to their people and encourages an open environment where people feel confident and comfortable in airing their views and ideas for progression. DYNAMIC: You will be a proven 'hands on' people manager that is tenacious, proactive and confident and creates a dynamic, empowered and fun working environment. TENACIOUS: You will recover quickly from setbacks and have the courage to stand up for your own beliefs and for the interests of the business. RESPONSIBLE: You will be committed and diligent and take personal responsibility for getting things done. You will possess an innate ability to adapt your behaviour and work methods in the right way to changing requirements to maintain performance and respond to the needs of others and to look to the future, anticipating the need for change.
