About The Role The job will join a good sized team and will take responsibility for duties including the following: • Performing the annual Internal Financial Control scoping exercise • Performing the annual Internal Financial Control Process Risk Assessment • Communicating the Group level Internal Financial Control scope to global stakeholders • Obtaining feedback from Internal Audit and External Audit and co-ordinating the local Process Risk Assessment • Co-ordinate the Group Deficiency Evaluation process including developing local Deficiency Evaluation templates and guidance • Discussing key findings, analysing and resolving issues • Consolidating local findings and assisting the department head in the preparation of findings for presentation to the steering committee • Supporting the development of the Internal Financial Controls methodology and its communication to the business • Providing training as required • Maintaining and updating the Group’s Internal Financial Control policy, procedure and guidance documents • Extensive international and UK based communication • Maintaining and improving the Internal Financial Control portal • Perform and co-ordinate the performance of process walkthroughs • Co-ordinating testing activities • Any other duties as required by the head of department About Our Client This client of Howett Thorpe is an impressive multi-national business based in Surrey (25 minutes by train from Waterloo)...View full job description
