Working in association with the Midlands and Wales Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre, you will be at the forefront of our advanced cellular therapies work in this engaging role. As a subject expert, you will enhance our organisational development strategy by seeing to it that NHSBT staff are fully aware of our ground-breaking developments, ensuring their training is up to scratch. You will also work with other healthcare organisations, travelling across the Midlands and South Wales as you share your knowledge and you will support the development of an Advanced Therapies Academy. From devising digital scientific training materials to delivering face-to-face education, your innovative approach to making education and training activities engaging will ensure your audience is as excited by these fascinating developments as we are. Flexibility is key to this role, as you may be required to work irregular hours and stay away from home occasionally. As such, you will be passionate about the field, willingly maintaining your knowledge and sharing this with internal colleagues and external customers. With experience of working in a service provider role and with a good knowledge of developing and assessing learning programmes, you will understand the importance of modelling quality assurance. With professional registration/fellowship within a relevant subject specialism such as HCPC and a teaching qualification or teaching experience, we will expect you to have postgraduate knowledge and experience in regenerative medicine or advanced cellular therapies. You will also have good IT skills including PowerPoint and Excel and a driving license would be useful. This is a career-defining role.
