Secretary Chief Officer TeamHQ, WakefieldSalary £17,943 - £19,125 (Pro rata) This is a Fixed Term Post, February 2018 to January 2019. West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a part time Secretary based in Wakefield.   You will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Officer Team, working closely with colleagues to provide secretarial assistance in times of absence or high workloads. There will also be a requirement to travel throughout the Force Area to attend meetings. We are looking for candidates who possess a high standard of organisational and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality. You will be RSA II qualified or have equivalent typing experience which will show a high level of accuracy and speed of no less than 30 wpm. Good IT skills will be required including the proficient use of computerised software packages such as Microsoft Office. Previous secretarial experience with experience of audio typing and shorthand skills may also benefit your application.  You will also need to possess the ability to minute meetings and take notes. The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. This is a part time post working 24 hours per week the working days are negotiable.  The application process will close at 1600 hours on the date shown.
