RCGP Educational Accreditation Scheme has been designed to help general practitioners and other primary care professionals to recognise educational activities and programmes of activities that meet identified and published standards that are relevant to their continuing professional development.The Senior Accreditation officer will manage the assurance and standards in relation to education and learning activities across the organisation and externally and support on-going quality enhancement through the Accreditation programme.Working closely with a senior clinical lead and other stakeholders, the post holder will develop and oversee the ongoing quality assurance of the educational content provided internally and by external education and learning providers to ensure clear and robust quality assurance measures are in place with all clients at inception and throughout the duration of the contract to ensure quality is maintained and all activities are analysed, evaluated and actions proposed.The post holder must be a highly effective project officer with a track record implementing and maintaining quality assurance framework across a range of educational products and services over time. They will need to be able to work very effectively with a wide range of senior College members and external third party education partners, from highly commercial large corporations to academic institutions, therefore strong communications skills and proven ability to deliver a high level of customer service is essential.The post holder will be expected to cultivate a network of contacts amongst internal and external stakeholders and maintain knowledge of market needs and trends whilst raising the profile and reputation of the College's education and learning business as a respected, high quality brand.The post holder will be expected to take a hands on approach to the management of Accreditation strands of work, to interpret complex information and produce reports. They will also have the proven ability to work on their own initiative and as a team player.The successful candidate will share our corporate values.
