Sanctuary also provides a range of other services including maintenance, care and telecare, all of which are delivered by our dedicated employees who are completely committed to customer service.    Senior Care & Support Assistant   Shaftesbury Place, Marsland Road, Cheltenham   £9.18 per hour (rising to £9.66  after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)   37.5 hours per week   Why work for us? We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health needs.   We have a rewarding opportunity for  Senior Care & Support Assistants to work at Shaftesbury Place.  As a key provider of quality care for people with learning disabilities and / or physical disabilities, our philosophy is simple; to give our residents a high standard of living within modern surroundings.      The role of Senior Care & Support Assistant will include * Providing a quality specialised person-centered care and support service to clients with complex needs * Providing personal care and support clients in maximising their independence and personal potential * Promoting safe practices and undertake risk assessments and manage the implement safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our clients * Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers   Skills and experiences * Person-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive relationships with people from varied backgrounds * Recent experience of working in a similar role with vulnerable people * Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude * Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy * NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards   Ready to join us?
