Summary of purpose / key responsibilities:Oxford Business College is looking for a dynamic person to join the admissions department from January 2018. This post will support the strategic business development and operational management of the College’s international activity, with the aim of increasing the profile of the college and student recruitment in the key markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. The post will also be responsible for delivering processes and procedures in relation to the admission of international students to the College and Tier 4 visa compliance.Main duties / job content:·         Coordinate and engage with central processes related to the admission of international students, including process of applications and supporting documents with reference to the College’s admission criteria, selection for interview and issue of offer letters.·         Provide expert advice to applicants, agents, and academic staff on admissions processes and procedures and contribute to the ongoing development of student systems.·          Maintain an expert knowledge of Tier 4 processes and regulations and ensure the College remains compliant with the conditions of its Sponsor License with regard to admission and enrolment of non-EEA nationals. Provide expert advice to students, agents and staff at all levels on UKVI requirements.Develop of a range of innovative mechanisms to meet international recruitment targets and develop networks and partnerships in Central Asia which successfully advance the College’s recruitment objectives.Promote and represent the College through overseas recruitment activities, conferences, international events and on appropriate professional bodies.Plan, manage and implement recruitment activities in Central Asia within a budget to assigned KPI’s and targets.Provide operational management and monitoring of the network of approved University international representatives including Agents.Analyse market data and produce performance reports at regular intervals for dissemination to the executive committeeBuild relationships and proactively engage with external organisations (Embassies, Sponsors, UKVI), educational institutions (Schools, Colleges, Universities) and customers (applicants, parents, prospective students) ensuring service levels are enhanced through surveys and feedback.Coordinate enrolment of international students, ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations.Experience / Skills / Competencies required:·         Excellent knowledge of key markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan and ability to build effective relationships and networks in these areas.·         Fluency in English and Russian (written and spoken). Fluency in a further relevant language from the key market area would be advantageous.·         Recent relevant experience in an international student recruitment role within higher education.·         Experience of working with HE admissions processes.·         Proven success formulating and implementing marketing and recruitment plans. ·         Strong commercial awareness, and business oriented approach. ·         Competent user of IT/Microsoft Office – especially skilled in using Word, PowerPoint and Excel packages. ·         Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills. ·         Evidence of ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, utilising cultural sensitivity and diplomacy ·         Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills. ·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. ·         Experience of and willingness to undertake extensive travel (at least 12 weeks) involving extended periods of time working away from the office, in challenging environments and often involving lone working.  ·         Knowledge of Tier 4 visa requirements. ·         A relevant business management/marketing qualification. Please send a CV and Covering Letter addressed to the Director: or 65 George Street, Oxford, OX1 2BQ.
