Senior Sales Account Manager Location: Bilsthorpe, NottinghamshireSalary: Competitive, DOEContract: Full time, PermanentWe are seeking to recruit a Senior Sales Account Manager to join our Sales team. Oakwood is the largest provider of hazardous waste collection services to the UK's motor vehicle franchised network. Offering a wide selection of services, Oakwood is also the total waste partner to a variety of industry sectors. Located in Bilsthorpe Nottinghamshire, servicing customers located throughout the UK, Oakwood employs over 113 people and have ambitious plans for expansion.Job descriptionThe successful candidate will interact with the existing customer base to ensure there is proactive and effective communication with listed key customer account contacts. By attending regular account review meetings with the key account contacts you will ensure a positive relationship is maintained between Oakwood and the customer base. You will provide support in resolving customer queries and concerns as required.The candidate will be able to upsell the entire range of products and services into existing customers to ensure that customers are able to take advantage of all Oakwood service offerings and maximise customer spend. In addition, the candidate will support the roll out of services to new customer estates.What is the role?The Senior Sales Account Manager would be required to perform the following: - Attend reactive and proactive account contact meetings to ensure positive relationships are maintained with key account customer base with a focus on maintaining customer relations. - Review account lists to highlight opportunities to upsell additional products and services into the existing customer base. - Proactively target existing customers in order maximise the number of services and customer spend. - Act as a point of contact for key account customer representatives. - Support in resolving queries / complaints from represented customer base. - Review customer management information to highlight compliance, spend and other irregularities across customer estates. - Complete site surveys and waste improvement plans (WIP) as part of customer performance reviews and new account customer roll outs. - Other duties as may be required as instructed.Experience:Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate the following required skills: - Minimum 4 years' experience working in a commercial / business development role. - Proven sales background - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - An ability to develop positive working relationships at all levels. - Problem solver, with ability to identify and implement sustainable solution's to customer requests, or general issues that may arise on a day to day basis. - Results driven. - Self-motivated and flexible. - Proactive and safety focused approach. - Computer literate with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word and Excel and IT packages in general.And the following preferred skills: - Waste industry experience and a third level degree is desirable, but not essential.Remuneration:We offer the opportunity to earn a competitive remuneration package and a company car in a growing company committed to the development of our people.If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience to be successful in this role click on "APPLY" today, forwarding an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.
