An exciting mobile payments start-up is recruiting for a Senior Sales / Business Development Manager. This is no normal sales role as you will be joining one of the most exciting growth businesses at the perfect stage - just prior to a UK wide launch.You will be joining a highly skilled team that is changing the payments landscape. After less than two years, this company has already gained the support of some of the largest businesses in the UK but now they need your help as they are looking for an experienced Senior Sales / Business Development Manager, with a focus on distribution / acquirer partnerships.You are an ambitious, results driven and polished digitally minded candidate who has a commercial mind-set, is great at building B2B relationships and knows how to close a good deal. You will primarily work on Distributor / Acquirer channels, which entails building relationships with partners that will process & acquire mobile payments.Knowledge, skills and experienceEssential• Proven relevant sales experience with a track record of hitting & exceeding revenue targets• Experience in early sage and high growth companies• Experience in managing and closing complex sales cycles• Creative thinker and problem solver• Ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously• Good understanding on how to market to a B2B• Outstanding written and spoken English• Outstanding presentation and communication skills• Hunter personality• Technical and technologically savvy• Strong track record of building partnerships with outside organisation• Comfortable with communicating to all stakeholders of the business• Experience in and knowledge of the key market verticals• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment• Navigate through complex structures and understand technical capabilitiesDesirable• Experience in contract writingYour key responsibilities will be:• Lead sales efforts amongst the Distributor / Acquirer Channel• Identify and develop relationships with key potential customers.• Help to build out a portfolio of key value added services• Structure the deals with companies you are selling to, this will include pricing, marketing and all other elements that need to be negotiated• Manage existing and new partners, this includes servicing the customers throughout the lifetime of their contract, It also includes coordinating with Marketing, Ops, Risk, Legal, Product and Development teams to ensure delivery of the service is smooth and error free• You will need to leverage your own network of potential sales prospects• You will need to prioritise and execute the existing business development pipeline in conjunction with senior management• Working on tenders and complex RFP's• Review all corporate information requests and ensure they are followed up• Build a methodology for measuring success of a particular vertical or verticals so that the sales function can be more focused• Co-ordinate cost effective resources to assist with key sales initiatives.
