The Service Desk Analyst s duties will include: Investigating issues and other requests for support Making modifications to system parameters, reconfiguring systems, changing operating procedures and training users Carrying out routine operations that control data processing, peripherals, and communications and networking equipment, including start-up, simple configuration, shutdown and normal re-start procedures The Service Desk Analyst will have: experience working in a customer focused/call centre/helpdesk service environment basic IT knowledge of several generic desktop software tools and developer knowledge of at least one software application Proficiency in use of software to publish on intranet, e.g. digerati is desirable Operational Service/Architecture, infrastructure, hardware database, operating systems, local area networks and IT applications and service processes knowledge Networking and communications knowledge The successful candidate will be educated to grade C GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation...View full job description
