We are an ever expanding service and welcome any applicants with an enthusiasm for Dermatology and a passion to drive our service forward. Dermatology is an area which offers great opportunity and potential for career progression we are the only speciality to have a Nurse Consultant in post, who helps support our services and research within the Department. The Dermatology department specialises in a wide range of specialist services and you will be the nursing clinical lead for all our areas. We have many nurse led services and have specific clinics for lymphodeoma, phototherapy and biologics as well as day treatment and supporting inpatient care. This is a great opportunity for someone to remain a clinical nurse specialist, but to undertake the roles and responsibilities of leading an expanding service. As post holder, you will be accountable and responsible for leading and supporting a team of Registered Nurses, providing professional leadership and management whilst working within a diverse multidisciplinary team. You will provide direct patient care, demonstrating specialist knowledge and acting as a resource for your team. There will be an expectation for you to have a clinical component to your role and hold your own specialist interest in a field of Dermatology.
