ExcluServ Ltd operates within the accounting and financial sector, providing consultancy, outsourcing and software solutions to businesses.Our consultancy, outsourcing and software development services combine to provide organisations with expertise in all the areas needed to streamline and enhance processes, systems and reporting. Due to new upcoming projects, product development, and in order to cater to company growth, specifically within our software department, we now have a vacancy for a Software Programmes Manager. The new hire will work alongside the technical director to ensure effective delivery whilst supporting current ExcluServ products in the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Driving forward all processes in the software development lifecycle;Advancing product development as a project manager, overseeing onsite and offsite development and support team;Management of the development team – including close communication to ensure that product releases are delivered on time and according to specification;Training junior staff members in the use of our developed software and the implications it has on peripheral systems;Taking control of the release cycle and quality assurance;Assisting with the product scope development of expansion to existing and new products;Recommending improvements to functionality of products and systems to the Technical Director;Acting as client lead on multiple accounts; completely handling all software related work to client specifications;Running training sessions on improving software systems and processes with clients; The successful candidate will be provided with training in our custom integration products, but must have a good working knowledge of transaction based systems and demonstrable experience with the integration of such systems, particularly accounting software. Candidates must also have extensive experience in carrying out the above-mentioned duties and be able to meet the following requirements: Degree qualified with demonstrable experience of working as a hands-on project and support manager within a software company developing financial integration tools;Experience in facilitating complex bi-directional integrations through Dell Boomi, Mulesoft or a similar integration tool.Excellent project management skills, coupled with a keen understanding and grasp of technology and the product development process;Demonstrable experience with the agile way of working and related project management methodologies, particularly Scrum – of which candidates must have a deep, working knowledge;Ability to understand, develop and clearly communicate complex technical specifications;Working knowledge ofXero and the Xero API, and preferably other cloud based accounting systems such as Netsuite;Deep understanding of transactional processing, together with anunderstanding of the productsour software integrates with (Xero, Salesforce and Concur) and how functionality may apply to our customers;Meticulous, demonstrable attention to detail, with a systematic way of approaching problems and software testing;Advanced level of data manipulation and Excel skills;specifically,demonstrable skills in the reconciliation of data sets from integrated systems;Experience in working with financial systems and particularly the integration of transactional and other financial information between one system and another;A good understanding and experience of working with API’s and cloud based technology to perform transactional integrations;Proficient with Salesforce (preferably also NPSP) up to administration level;Experience in working with at least one expense management solutions, such as Concur, would be preferable.Understanding of using project management tools such as Jira / Redmine to manage and track deliverables within a product development environment;Basic knowledge of bookkeeping concepts and how they relate to transactional processing;As ExcluServ work extensively with non-profit organisations a good working knowledge of Gift Aid processes and other non-profit transactional tracking requirements will be beneficial;Extensive experience in dealing directly with customers across multiple accounts on a support level is essential;Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – must be fluent in English. Applications: Applications must reach us by the closing date of  02 April 2018.       View full job description
