As the Software Release Engineer, your duties will include: - the release of developed software to controlled environments - backups/restores, running SQL scripts and checking and enforcing coding standards - assisting with application-based troubleshooting and resolution - assisting software engineers with the creation, maintenance and improvement of release notes - providing assistance within other IT group areas of responsibility as required To be considered for this position, you must have the following skill set: - experience of using operating systems and related infrastructure applications (Windows NT/2000/2003 & IIS) - experience of SQL 2000/2005 - a track record of using relevant Windows scripting tools such as Batch, OSQL - knowledge of a range of application types, such as the internet, intranet, eCommerce business systems Additionally, as the Software Release Engineer, you should be highly accurate, thorough, self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed...View full job description
