Support Worker (Driver) – South Shields “Passionate about working together to provide specialist services.  Real people providing real support to make a real difference”Neuro Partners KEYFORT are currently looking for caring, motivated individuals to support adults who have disabilities, live at home and require support up to 24 hours a day to live a full and independent life.£7.50-£8.50 per hour after training.Double Pay for bank holiday working.Paid Care Certificate Training, DBS and on-going training.Full time & Part Time hours (12 hr shifts).12 hr day shift              7.00am - 7.00 pm12 hr waking night shift            7.00pm - 7.00amGuaranteed hours contracts available.Permanent Rolling Rota, working with the same Service User(s) week to week.On-going Support and training including the opportunity to complete NVQ’s.You will be part of a team providing the service user with continuous 24 hr support.Sessions are agreed in advance as a rolling shift pattern.  All staff on this case are expected to cover some waking nights and weekends, and flexibility is required to support colleagues to cover absence and holidays.TrainingFrom your first day you will be paid to go through our accredited training course which includes the care certificate alongside bespoke elements designed to help you provide a world class service.Each of the individuals we work with have their own training programme which they have often helped to design. After you have completed this you will receive on the job training from an experienced support worker until you feel comfortable to go solo. When you are on session you will be supported 24 hours a day by an on call system managed by experienced members of the office team.Training could include: supporting ventilated clients, care of a tracheostomy, PEG feeding and care, medication administration and catheter care.ExperienceExperience in any of the following areas would be an advantage but not essential:Physical disabilities.  Neurological conditions.  Brain injuries.  Spinal injuries.  Clinical care need techniques e.g. tracheostomy care, ventilator care, PEG care, catheter care.  Physiotherapy exercise routines.  Medication handling.  Psychological skills e.g. anxiety reduction.Closing Date for applications – Monday 28 November.Induction training dates:  5 Dec 2016 & 9 Jan 2017 (Mon – Thu 8.30am-5pm)If you think you are the exceptional individual we are looking for ……..
