You’ll be supporting customers with mental health needs within our dynamic floating support service. You will be part of a diverse team and will have the skills to build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal colleagues. You will be able to work collaboratively with peers and their teams in order to achieve outcomes.It’s really important to us that you have time to what you are really care about; changing customers lives for the better.  So to free up your time, you’ll be given the latest IT kit, which could include a Surface Pro tablet and smart phone, supported by our new online integrated IT system which means that you don’t have to be in the office as you can complete support plans on the go. You’ll also be paid between clients visit and for your mileage too.  You will also have the opportunity to work within a centralised team which will be based in our residential service in Handsworth Birmingham.A bit about youWe want someone like you, with the passion and motivation for helping vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives.  To flourish in the role, you’ll have a practical understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality and support plans. You’ll be great at managing your own time, working on your own initiative, have strong communication skills and be able to positively influence people from all different backgrounds.  You will have strong organisational and have the ability to foster positive working relationships and the drive and ambition to deliver consistent high quality working practices which meet the needs of our services and customers. It’s important to us that you have the compassion and empathy to work with vulnerable people in a housing related social care setting and we do need you to also have good IT skills too.You’ll also have the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse range of customer groups in both accommodation and floating support services.
